I really enjoyed the cafe - it was a nice surprise to discover this lovely cafe nestled in a peaceful setting near downtown Little Rock. It was very quiet the Monday lunch I had there with some family members.
The Asian salad was a hit with my (adult) niece, and I had the best veggie burger I've ever had - not dry, very fresh and moist in the good way (I hate that word too). A delicious lunch for a mere pittance! All of the food was really clean and fresh. Very well made. A special place.
The day was amazing for dining al fresco! -

After toured Heifer international it was only right for us to have lunch at the Heifer Cafe.
When we first walked up they had a menu that you could walk up to and then they had a soup of the day and board that displayed the menu as well.
The cafe area was decent there was plenty of seating a lot of the people came and got their food and went back to their office.
We ended up ordering chicken strips + fries & a grilled cheese sandwich. I paid under $20 for everything. The food was okay, the cheese on the grilled cheese wasn't melted much but my son ate it. The plates that the food were on wasn't very clean.
Overall okay cafe. -

Always amazing!!! I highly recommend the Chicken Bacon Ranch Quesadilla. It's the best of any place I've tried it. They have an excellent variety of fresh and healthy foods along with the guilty pressures. Lunch rush is busy and fast paced but they take good care of their customers.

I always look forward to trips to Heifer International. Lunch there is the highlight of my trips! Always great with many locally sourced foods. Wish they were open on weekends for lunch!

One of the best spots for lunch in Little Rock. The menu is limited to a few grilled items, paninis, soup, and salads but is consistently top-notch. Its off the beaten path so most days it is you and few employees or visitors to Heifer Village. Decor is a cross between corporate break room and the exhibits of Heifer Village. If the weather is tolerable sit outside. You really escape the feeling of being so close to the downtown of a metro area.
I tend to try to the specials, today was a pattie melt on marble rye that would hold up against most any of the great greasy spoon restaurants that make the pattie melt to perfection.
If the specials don't tempt me, it's straight to the caprese panini. The bread is always toasted to crunchy perfection and the flavors of the ingredients are always bright and fresh.
While the menu is too limited to say there is something for everyone, it is certainly a hidden gem as one of the best lunch spots in Little Rock.
